Does our team have to participate in all sports?
No, we do recommend that you try and put together as many teams as possible though. The nature of CC is such that we want teams to experience as many of the events as possible.

We have a small company, can we join up with another company to form one team?
Yes, but it is up to you to find that other company. Also, we maintain one point of contact with each team so you will have to ensure that you have good communication between the two companies.

What division is my company in?
THESE ARE APPROXIMATE NUMBERS AND CHANGE EACH YEAR.  Blue: less than 96 employees - Green:  97-164 employees - Yellow: 165-348 employees - White: 350-659 employees - Red: 676 or more employees

Do we have to provide volunteers to work at the events? And if so, why?
CC is almost entirely run by volunteers. Each company is required to provide a minimum number of volunteers to work at an event. The number varies depending on the size of your company and we try to ensure that all of your volunteers work together, making it fun for them. The commitment is small but mandatory, teams who do not fulfill their volunteer requirements will not be permitted to participate the following year.

Where do the proceeds of the raffle go?
CC is a non-profit organization so most of the proceeds go back into the Games to pay for equipment, facilities, materials and administration. Some of the proceeds are given to a sports-related charity each year.

Why are you so strict with the I.D. rule?
CC is designed to provide an opportunity for employees of participating companies to take part in fun sporting events. I.D. Checking ensures that those playing are indeed employees of a particular company and not “ringers”. Also, we make no exceptions to the rule because it would be unfair to waive the rule for one player and then enforce it for another. By making the rules equal for everyone it makes the Games fair for all players.

Can I get involved in the organization of the Games?
Yes, we are always looking for eager volunteers! If you are interested, please give us a call in the office.
